Moving Around Robertson : A. The LRT (Light Rail Transport) & MRT (Mass Rapid Transit). Both are the most extensive rail system within the Klang Valley. The closest stations to you are Plaza Rakyat Station ( LRT, approx 7 min walk from our place ) and Merdeka Station ( MRT, approx 10 min walk from our place ). Both are in the same place being interchange stations. Both stations can take you to the 3 top shopping destinations in town. 1) LRT to KLCC. To go to KLCC, you should take the LRT from Plaza Rakyat Station to Masjid Jamek Station. From Masjid Jamek Station, you should swap over to the Kelana Jaya Line and go to the KLCC Station. 2) MRT to Bukit Bintang/Pavillion Bukit Bintang is the Central Shopping District. Take the MRT from Merdeka Station to Bukit Bintang Station. By walk, it takes about 10 minutes. 3) LRT to Mid Valley MegaMall To go to Mid Valley Mega Mall, you should take the LRT from Plaza Rakyat Station to Masjid Jamek Station. From Masjid Jamek Station, you should swap over to the Kelana Jaya Line and go to the Abdullah Hukum Station. There is a link bridge connecting you from the Abdullah Hukum station directly to Mid Valley Garden/Megamall. B. Grab Grab is your personal chauffeur service ( like Uber ) .
